Sofia and Ann

Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was just 5 years old. She grew up within Orange County. She graduated at the University of California, San Diego in 2015 which is the same year she got her big break in acting. Pernas started her acting career through tiny roles in NCIS and Leverage. The Young and the Restless gave Pernas the part of Marisa. After leaving soap opera in the year 2016, she landed a recurring role in Jane the Virgin as Catalina. She speaks four languages and has since appeared in The Brave with Hannah Rivera as well as The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Pernas was the character Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between the years of 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly announced in May 20 that Pernas dated Justin Hartley who was her co-star for The Young and the Restless. The news came after Chrishell Stause (the spouse to the This Is Us actor) left him in November 2019 and Pernas started dating Hartley.
